Learn to Ride with Fresh Start Life Solutions

At Fresh Start Life Solutions you can learn to ride both English and Western styles of riding. Our wonderful Gypsy Vanner horses are known for being behaved and well mannered, and they are a great option to learn and grow your current skills. Are you starting from the very beginning? That is wonderful!
Horseback riding is a journey that one can pursue for most of their lives! We do ask that our youngest riders wait until at least 5 years old before signing up for formal lessons so we can start slow and build confidence.
What are some things you will learn?
Grooming basics and safety while on the ground
Basic leading and turnout
Tacking up (and what tack is/ what it does)
Balance and control while walking, trotting, and cantering
Proper steering while regulating desired gaits/speed
Basic care; cool down, bathing/ rinsing
& so much more based on your goals and journey!
Cost:
Our lesson rate is $100 per hour (Lessons are 1 hour- this includes your tackup and cool down time)
What you need:
Please arrive at your appointment on time. Please note any special instructions you have received prior, we pride ourselves in providing privacy to all of our clients and we may ask you stay near your vehicle until we come greet you - as a privacy courtesy for a client visiting us prior.
Pack a water, a helmet (if you do not want to use ours), bug spray, sunscreen, long pants, and boots. Then be ready for the best 60-minutes of your day!
