Elizabeth Jarquin, M.S.

Elizabeth Jarquin is an integral part of the Fresh Start team. She earned her B.S. in Psychology at Florida International University in 2014, and her M.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy at Nova Southeastern University in 2016. She is currently in the Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy Program at Nova Southeastern University, with an expected graduation date of June 2020. Elizabeth is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Florida. 


Elizabeth is an American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) Pre-Clinical Fellow. She has four years of clinical experience working with couples, individuals, families and children. Elizabeth utilizes a systems therapy perspective in the work that she does.

Elizabeth is passionate about helping others overcome difficult situations, recognize their full potential, and achieve their personal goals. Together, she will help you to explore different aspects of your life, discover your strengths, identify what you want to change, and work towards your desired self and future. Her areas of specialty include: communication issues, behavioral issues, family conflicts, and adjustment difficulties. Elizabeth’s areas of focus include: children, teens, concerns relating to ethnicity/race/identity, the LGBTQ community, life transitions, domestic violence/abusive relationships, and issues relating to immigration. 
Elizabeth provides therapy fluently in both English and Spanish.
